Privacy notice

This notice explains how Routes 2 Change CIC uses personal information collected through this website, including when you send an enquiry.

Last updated: 19 August 2026

Who we are

Routes 2 Change CIC is the controller for personal information collected through this website. We are a community interest company limited by guarantee, registered in England and Wales with company number 17236760. Our registered office is Beckside Court, Annie Reed Road, Beverley, HU17 0LF.

You can contact us at admin@routes2change.co.uk.

What this notice covers

This notice covers information collected through the website, including the contact form on this website, emails sent to admin@routes2change.co.uk from links on this site, and technical information created when the site is visited.

If you take part in training, coaching or other support, we also handle information in line with our confidentiality approach, including safeguarding. That is described on our Confidentiality section. This page is about website enquiries and how the site itself works.

What we collect

When you use the contact form we collect:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your phone number, if you choose to give one
  • the area of interest you select
  • the message you write

If you email us instead, we collect the address you send from and whatever you include in the email.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider may also process technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is needed to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults.

The contact form includes a hidden field used only to reduce spam. People are not asked to fill it in, and we do not use it to contact anyone.

Why we use this information

We use enquiry details to understand your request and reply to you. We do not use website enquiries to send marketing emails.

The lawful basis under UK GDPR is usually Article 6(1)(b), because you have asked us to take steps before a possible contract, or Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact a community interest company about its work.

We may also use information where we must do so by law, including safeguarding duties if someone may be at risk of harm.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share website enquiry data only with organisations that help us run the site and receive messages:

  • Vercel, which hosts this website
  • Resend, which sends the contact form message to our inbox

These organisations act as processors for us and may only use the information to provide their service. If a legal or safeguarding duty applies, we may also share information with the people or authorities who need it.

Transfers outside the UK

Vercel and Resend are based in the United States, so enquiry and hosting data may be processed outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the transfer tools approved by the UK Information Commissioner, such as the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, as offered by those providers.

This site also loads its fonts from Google Fonts. That means Google receives your IP address when a page is viewed. Google's privacy information is on Google's own site.

How long we keep it

We keep website enquiries for 12 months after we last heard from you, unless we need to keep them longer to deal with a complaint or a legal claim, or you ask us to delete them sooner and we have no legal reason to retain them.

Hosting logs are kept only as long as needed for security and the operation of the site.

Cookies

This website does not set non-essential cookies and does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Your browser may store files such as fonts in its cache so pages load more quickly. That is controlled by your browser, not by a cookie banner on this site.

If we later add analytics or other optional cookies, we will update this notice and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you
  • correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • delete information in some cases
  • restrict or object to certain uses of your information
  • receive information you provided to us in a portable form, where that right applies

To use these rights, email admin@routes2change.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by writing to the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.

Children

The website contact form is intended for adults making an enquiry, including people contacting us on behalf of a workplace, school or community setting. We do not knowingly use this form to collect children's information for marketing. If a young person contacts us, we will still use the message to reply safely and appropriately.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page if how we use personal information changes. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
